What is happening at Bloom — stories from the stages, the dates worth putting in your diary, the shape of the academic year, and a year of photographs.

The academic year runs from September to June, and this one begins with new families across every stage — from PK3 in Early Childhood through to our Pre-University students preparing for graduation.

Tours, consultations and celebrations. Everything is confirmed and published through MyBIS before it happens.

Tours run during lesson time rather than after hours — you will see classes in progress across Early Childhood, Primary, Secondary School and Pre-University, meet the Head of your child's stage, and finish with time for questions.
The BIS academic year begins in September and ends in June. This page shows the shape of the year — exact start and end dates for each term are published in the school calendar and confirmed on MyBIS.
The clubs, the trips, the languages and the celebrations — photographed as they happen, by the teachers who were there.
The academic year runs September to June, and this one begins with new families in every stage from PK3 to Pre-University.
This is what a new academic year looks like at a school that is still growing. Classrooms that were half-full last September are full this one; the activity programme has more clubs in it than the year before; and in every stage there are families who have arrived from another country, another curriculum, sometimes another language.
The academic year at BIS runs from September to June, across three terms. It opens with the same rhythm every year — Monday to Friday, 8:00 to 15:30, with morning care available from 8.00am for our Early Childhood families and extra-curricular activities running through to 18:30.

Children move from Early Childhood through Primary Years and Secondary School, and then move into Pre-University for their final two years. Because all five stages share one campus in the PG Dream Residence building in Toul Sangke, a PK3 child and a Grade 12 student pass each other in the same corridors — which is unusual, and quietly formative for both.
Activities begin in the second week of September, and registration opens on MyBIS the week before. Reports and parent consultations fall in the first term; the IB PYP scholarship window opens in November and closes in February; and the external language examinations — the DELE, the DELF, the YCT and HSK — are sat in the final term, before the celebrations that close the year.
Every date is confirmed through MyBIS ahead of time, so a family never has to guess.
Our weekly tour, held during lesson time — real classes across all five stages, and time at the end for your questions.
We deliberately hold tours during lesson time rather than after hours. You will see real classes in progress across Early Childhood, Primary, Secondary School and Pre-University — not an empty building.
A member of our admissions team walks with you throughout, and the Head of the stage your child would join joins you for part of the visit. There is time at the end for the questions that matter most to your family — placement, languages, fees, transport, or how a child who speaks no Khmer settles in.
